Importance of prayers in Ramadan

Ramadan is a gifted month for Muslims from their lord. Muslims believe that ALLLAH is the only one who is a creator of this universe and people can only save them from the fire of hell if they follow ALLAH rules and saying. ALLAH has given a holy book that is Quran to Muslims for making their life perfect. Muslim follow Quran as it has the wordings f ALLAH. ALLAH has told Muslims in Quran to have fasting in Ramadan. Muslim do fasting and prayers in Ramadan for their ALLAH.

Allah said that ‘the month of Ramadan is better than thousand months’.

Also the prayers and fasting in Ramadan is better than the prayers in whole year. ALLAH has told many times in Quran to have prayers a lot. There is a big difference in prayers and saying prayers. There are 0 days of Ramadan in which Muslims make their all activities less down and spend their most of the time in prayers because ALLAH shower his blessing and forgiveness in this month.

Praying for lord is the main duty of believers. Prayers make people close to their lord an ALLAH bless them with his mercy.

There are so many prayers for the month of Ramadan we have told by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). There are 3 ashrahs of Ramadan which has their own prayers and blessings. The last ten days of Ramadan have much more benefits and blessings for Muslims. These nights contain a night called shab_e_Qadr which is the best night amongst all night.

Thus the prayers in Ramadan give us thousand times more blessings from ALLAH comparing with the prayers in remaining year. We should pray a lot in Ramadan and the whole year for the blessing of Allah and our forgiveness.

To help you understand the practical and social aspects of enduring hardship in the context of Islam it is that experience that each of us face at a point in our lives with grief, tremendous loss, materially and emotionally and tragedy which may be result of a accident, loss of a loved one, failing an examination, failure of a business or career venture which was built by your own hands or serious illness.

This is where one from another the experience and the hardship is difficult to share and this is precisely where the sense of emptiness, numbing of sense and utter despair becomes so intense that one starts to question things such as the entire purpose of existence or life. And this is where such a person is often seen as taking over stressed and fall a victim of depression for which the religion and other things become less important as the senses go numb.

For this reason Holy Quran tells us in Sura Al-Baqara, verses 155-157, Allah subhanallahu ta'ala reminds us: Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger; some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil) but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Who say when afflicted with calamity: "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhir raji-oon"

Halal and Haram in Quran

“O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you, and render thanks to Allah if it is (indeed) He whom ye worship” (Qur’an 2:172)

Halal is an Arabic word used many times in Quran, which means Permitted or Acceptable according to an Islamic law. It’s the opposite of Haram which means Prohibited or Unacceptable according to an Islamic law. In Quran Allah commands us not to eat any Haram foods and only to eat Halal foods; it’s mandatory.

“They ask thee (O Muhammad) what is made lawful for them. Say: (all) good things are made lawful for you. And those beasts and birds of prey which ye have trained as hounds are trained, ye teach them that which Allah taught you; so eat of that which they catch for you and mention Allah's name upon it, and observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is swift to take account” (Qur’an 5:4)

Even though cows, sheep’s, goats etc are Halal but in Quran Allah tells us that these animals should be slaughtered in the name of Allah before eating them.

“And eat not of that whereon Allah's name hath not been mentioned, for lo! it is abomination. Lo! The devils do inspire their minions to dispute with you. But if ye obey them, ye will be in truth idolaters” (Qur’an 6:121)

The following is a list of some of the Halal products according to the teachings of miraculous Quran:

• Milk (from cows, sheep, camels, and goats)
• Honey
• Fish
• Plants which are not toxic
• Vegetables and fruits
• Dry fruits and nuts like peanuts, cashew nuts, hazel nuts, walnuts etc.
• Grains like wheat, rice, rye, barley, oat, etc.

Some of the Haram products:

• Meat from pig - pork, ham, bacon, etc
• Pork-based products - sausages etc.
• Animals improperly slaughtered or already dead before slaughtering
• Animals slaughtered someone else other than Allah
• Birds of prey and animals without external ears (i.e., snakes, reptiles, worms, insects etc.)
• Blood, foods made with the help of any of the above products.

Scientific Miracles in Quran

The last book of Muslims was revealed about 1400 years ago. This was revealed on the last prophet of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (p.b.u.h). It is a book of guidance that was conveyed to the mankind. 2) The orbits that we know about in the present date were mentioned in the Quran 1400 yaers ago. As said in the Quran:

"it is He who created the night and the day, and the Sun and the Moon. They swim along each in an orbit" (The Quran, 36:38).

3) Noiw we know that there are paths that handle vast universe. In another verse the God Almighty says, "By the sky, full of orbits and paths" (The Quran, 51:7). Today we know that Sun is not static and all the planets are moving on their predefined orbits.

4) In another ayat the word folding up is used for the circular motion of the planets. As said in the Quran:

"He has created the Heavens and the Earth for truth. He wraps up the night in the day and wraps the day up in the night" (The Quran 39:5).

5) Now we all know that everything is created in pairs. This was discovered in 1933. But infact this was mentioned in the Quran in the 7th century. As said in the holy Quran:

“Glory be to Him who created all in pairs. From what the earth produces, from themselves and from things unknown to them" (The Quran 36:36).

Material Things and Eternity

“You have indeed come with something most monstrous, of which the skies almost burst, the earth split asunder, and the mountains fall down in utter ruin. All this because of their attributing a child to Allah".

A common question asked by the atheists is that why the God of the universe not in front of his eyes. Why is there a need of a God in this world? Why can’t things be eternal without the existence of an eternal God? There are issues that play the function of the initial and supreme origin of temporal things, thus we can say that eternity of reality logically suggests everlastingness. This is factual because, if certain thing is eternal then it does not count for its reality on anything out-of-doors itself. If this is so then it cannot ever overtake away, because only those things overtake away that misplace some of the external situation on which they count for their existence. If the supreme origin of temporal things is eternal and everlasting, it should of necessity be self-sufficient. As said in the Quran:

“God never had a child, nor have there been any gods beside him. [Had there been any], each of them would have appropriated to himself what he created, and some would have overcome others.”

Tauheed And Shirk

Man has been so ungrateful to Allah in all the times for the blessings that are provided to him. That the blessings provided to him are those that man cannot create, control or handle. All the operation of the world is handled by Allah alone. Here a question arises in the minds of both the believers and non-believers that what is the mankind here for then? Allah has replied in the Quran in the following way:

"And I created not the Jinns and men except that they should worship Me (Alone)." [51: 56]

Another question that arises is that if we are here to worship then is just saying Namaz the method to worship in Islam or is the word worship meant for something else.

Ibn Taymiyyah has defined worship as: "a term which comprises everything that Allah loves and approves of from the apparent and hidden sayings and deeds."

Therefore worship is the word solely meant for the sake of pleasing Allah and has nothing to do with polytheism. This is actually the acceptance of man from his heart and his actions to believe in the oneness of Allah. The opposite of this concept is shirk or polytheism.

Allah Says: "If you call upon them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them" [35: 14]

Therefore in several places in Quran Allah has said about different types of shirks man commits. On the judgment day man would not find the ones who he has been calling in for help.

"When our Messengers (the angels) come to them to take their souls, they will say: 'Where are those whom you used to invoke and worship besides Allah, 'they will reply, 'They have vanished and deserted us. 'And they will bear witness against themselves, that they were disbelievers." [7: 37].

Reward of Qur'an Recitation
