Collections and Stories of American Muslims

This is an interesting site. It has bits and pieces of information about slaves who were from different Muslim countries and I think it is an excellent resource for supplementing American history/geography if you are teaching it. Some of them were Imams while living on the plantations. You can read through the 1700's,1800's and 1900's among other things.
